Antique Southern Yellow Wide Plank Pine
In the process of finishing the attic of this 75 year old home, it was decided to keep the existing floorboards in the game room, and carpet the floor in the music studio. The boards were covered in layers of grime and scratched but otherwise in good shape. Some plank replacements were needed, as there was cracking and breaks. Since carpeting was being laid in the studio, new subfloor and soundproofing would replace the planks there. The original floor in that area was removed and selected planks were reused in the game room. The floor was sanded, buffed and polyurethaned.
